BUMPERS
I don't know why I love this picture so much, I just do. I like the contrast of the rough wood with the glassy-ness of the water, the reflected light, the semi-gnarly bumpers...

In nautical terms they're actually called "fenders" because thy're used to "fend off" from other boats and docks and such... I think you like it because you have a little bit o pirate in yer...arrrrrrrrghhh
